Today goes down in history as the final voyage of NASA’s Space Shuttle Program, bookending 30 years of exploration.  Space Shuttle Atlantis and its four astronauts lifted off from the Kennedy Space Center at 11:29am EDT.

“What a truly awesome day today,” said NASA Associate Administrator for Space Operations Bill Gerstenmaier. “I’m really talking about the teams and the people who supported the launch…”  Gerstenmaier sums up perfectly that these astronauts and launch teams are iconic in the minds of Americans.  Their missions and accomplishments are inspiring and compelling.

We find the response of our clients is “truly awesome” after hearing these stories from former astronauts such as Robert “Hoot” Gibson, Mike Mullane and Rick Searfoss.
